Soldiers can look forward to spending a special day with their families at Bonifacio Global City (BGC) with an exclusive treat from The Mind Museum and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).

The Mind Museum will be giving out free entrance tickets to children of Filipino Soldiers with the rank of E4 (Sergeants) and down. Accompanying adults will also get a special rate of P190 for their entrance tickets. These treats will be exclusively offered during the BGC Passionfest Weekend to be held on November 26 and 27, 2016.

This special treat for our solders is pursued by The Mind Museum in cooperation with BCDA. The Mind Museum is a project of the non-profit Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc. It is dedicated to providing an extraordinary educational experience that inspires the public understanding of science.

The initiative was established as a simple way of giving give honor and appreciation to the country’s brave soldiers. It is also aligned with BCDA’s Sundalo Ko, Bayani Ko program, which enables our soldiers to enjoy special benefits in the form of discounts, privileges, or similar offerings on purchases made and services availed from participating merchants within Fort Bonifacio—a former army camp, which is also home to the BGC.

The exclusive offer for children of Filipino Soldiers happens during the BGC Passionfest, an annual celebration held to pay homage to the life of our hero, Andres Bonifacio. Spearheaded by the Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation (FBDC), the three-day celebration is now running on its fifth straight year, and kicks off on November 25 at Bonifacio High Street and the BGC city center in Taguig City. Themed “Bayanihan Fiesta,” among this year’s activities are the giant Slidefest, wacky obstacle race, The Mind Museum’s Science Circus Show and many more.

The Mind Museum is open Tuesdays to Sundays form 9:00 am to 12:00 nn; 12:00 noon - 3:00 pm; and, 3:00 pm -6:00 pm.
